Earn AA miles for hosting a meeting

As I listen to the large chucks of snow and ice falling off my roof, I feel quite certain that Sonesta Bay Hotel in Coconut Grove and American Airlines are on to a great and warm idea for 2010. Both companies have teamed up to offer 10,000 frequent flier miles for hosting a meeting at the property in 2010. In addition, the hotel is offering a complimentary welcome reception for up to 50 people. The offer is only valid if you book 50 rooms per night and the contract must be signed by December 31, 2009. As visions of palm trees dance in my head, I'm all ready for a warmer climate, how about you?

Viva Vero Beach

Everyone knows I love all Kimpton Hotel properties and if you don't know, I mean you can't beat them. To draw on an earlier post, where else can you get a goldfish in room during you stay? Kimpton Hotels are traditionally boutique-y types with gorgeous room furnishes and stellar service you can always count on. Families, groups, romantics all feel at home while staying at Kimpton.

Now they have just announced the new addition: Vero Beach Hotel and Spa and they are offering great introductory rates! A studio suite is $149 a night on stays between Sunday and Thursday and then it goes up to $169 for the weekend plus you get a daily $20 F&B credit. While that may not be enough for a full meal, you could use it to sip a cooling margarita while you sit serenely on the white sandy beaches watching the crystal blue waters of Florida. The offer is good between now and February 12th - definitely check this out!

Looking for a green option, Saddlebrook Resort has many shades of green from its championship golf courses to be rated in the Florida Green Lodging program.

And Key West's Southernmost Hotel Collection is almost ready to debut its new oceanfront rooms with amazing rates of only $119 a night.

Its an amazing location with the theme park attractions for those that want to bring the loved ones, championship golf courses, luxury spa, close to an international airport, more than 450,000 square feet of meeting space and it offers the nation's largest pillar free resort ballroom.
